I have no clue who I am yet, who does? People say they have
everything planned to a tee, but in actuality they are a reek inside. No one is
really who they say they are-just what they want the world to view them as. I
am not going to deceive you and convince you I am someone I’m not. The truth
about me is not spectacular, but it is unique to me.
My journey in life is just beginning. I have experienced
many things in my 18 years but nothing compares to what I will face in the
future. I am not sure about tomorrow for all I know is today. Here at Olivet I
hope to learn mind and skill sets that will help me in worldly situations.
Being in this Christian community is what I need to grow stronger and to keep
my faith on track.
I never intended to come to Olivet specifically when I was
college hunting. My college requirements were as follows:
1.
Christian College
2.
Four- year Engineering Program
3.
Art Program
Cedarville was another college that fit the list above, but
Olivet felt real to me so it quickly became my first choice.
At college one can be anyone they want to be; it is a fresh
start for everyone. I am one who decided just to be me. I am a corky and
awkward girl who loves to be crazy and share God’s loves in the simplest of
ways.
God’s love amazes me! One can have just a little speck of
love and it has a HUGE impact. It keeps growing as one gives it away and shares
it with another. His love is one thing that will never run dry and always be
there when needed. And if that is what His love is imagine how magnificent
God’s other qualities are.
All in all I am a socially awkward nerd starting out college
and trying to follow God’s path.
